Pacific Jeans being a leading organization in RMG sector, always committed to offer comprehensive and customer satisfied products to meet the specific needs of our honorable customers. It is our honest commitment to comply all local laws for the well being of our employees & environment in a sustainable way. Pacific Jeans believes that our customers are the reason and inspiration for everything we do. So, we always welcome any lawful advices from our renowned buyers. To be a customer focus and customer driven organization,we have developed a code of conducts which is applicable for all our factories, suppliers and sub-contractors. We firmly believe that by following this code of conducts, Pacific Jeans can run her business in a successful and sustainable way and also able to face the challenges in upcoming future

FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT

We as Pacific Jeans believe in treating our employees, associates, our colleagues and all those we serve in the course of doing business with the highest levels of honesty, integrity, consideration and respect. In other words, our workplaces and the workplaces of our suppliers are completely free of emotional, physical, sexual or verbal harassment or abuse.
Moreover, employees must not be subjected to discrimination in recruitment, hiring, training, working conditions, job assignments, wages and benefits, compensation, overtime, promotions, discipline, termination and retirement on the basis of gender, age, religion, marital status, race, sexual orientation, disability, disease, nationality, pregnancy, or trade union and/or political affiliation.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Pacific Jeans and its factories are paying wages and overtime premiums in compliance with all applicable laws. Employees are paid at least minimum legal wages or higher and provides each employee a clear pay slip in local language for every pay period. Pacific Jeans also provides all legally mandated benefits like Food allowances; transportation or transportation allowances; Festival Bonus; Other Cash Allowances, health care, maternity benefit with leave, Earned Leave and other paid leave; Contribution to Provident Fund; Child Care etc. Pacific Jeans is not making any deductions from wages which are not provided for by national law, or as a disciplinary measure. Companies supplying products and/or services to Pacific Jeans are also requested to be in compliance with applicable laws.

VOLUNTARY LABOUR

All work should be voluntary and not performed under threat of penalty or coercion. Forced labor, including bonded, trafficked, indentured or prison labor, is prohibited.

CHILD LABOUR POLICY

Pacific Jeans does not employ any person below the legal and or buyer’s COC required minimum age. Companies supplying products and/or services to Pacific Jeans are requested to not employ people under the legal age, and to be in compliance with buyers’ CoC requirements.

WORKING HOURS POLICY

Pacific Jeans is maintaining working hours including day off in compliance with all applicable laws. Working hours may not exceed 60 hours in any seven day period, except in truly exceptional, unforeseeable circumstances. All overtime is voluntary and we are carrying out the operations in ways that limit overtime to a level that ensures humane and productive working conditions. Companies supplying products and/or services to Pacific Jeans are expected to follow these same criteria.

FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION

All workers at Pacific Jeans and at suppliers’ facilities are free to join associations of their own choosing. We are not interfering with workers who wish to lawfully and peacefully associate, organize or bargain collectively. The decision whether or not to do so should be made solely by the workers.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Pacific Jeans is complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding working conditions including worker health and Safety, Safe and hygienic work place, Fire Safety, Risk Protection and electrical, mechanical & structural safety. Companies supplying products and/or services to Pacific Jeans need to be in compliance with applicable legislation, and should provide applicable information to Pacific Jeans if requested.

ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS

Pacific Jeans is complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. We are actively working to improve the environmental performance of our operations.This includes measures to mitigate adverse environmental impacts, and to improve material and resource efficiency, reduce waste and prevent pollution.

BUYERS/BRAND CODE OF CONDUCT

Pacific Jeans is following & ensures the Code of Conduct of different buyers / brands working with us.

ETHICAL CONDUCT

Pacific Jeans is operating with high ethical standards and employees should not be involved in any corruption, extortion, bribery, fraud, false declarations, counterfeiting or insider trading. Pacific Jeans’ suppliers can be visited by the company unannounced to ensure all topics in the company’s Code of Conduct are met and, ideally, exceeded.

▪Conducting of international standard training programs through renowned organization like BV and other expertise.

▪Techinical trainings on new technologies in different production processes.

▪Training session with different sections ragarding technical requierments of our buyers

Motivational/Awareness training for co-workers to get well educated about their benefits,rules & responsabilities as well as compliance requierements of our valued buyers
